  • A charter school is a public school that receives greater flexibility in its operations, such as curriculum and staffing, in exchange for greater accountability. Charter schools are funded by the state, and they provide families with more educational options to improve student achievement.

  • No! As a public charter school, Albuquerque Collegiate is tuition-free. There are no fees to apply or attend. We also provide free breakfast and lunch, uniforms, school supplies, and sports programs & clubs for all students.

  • No, it's not too late to enroll. Students can enroll anytime during the year as long as there are seats available. If transferring from another school, simply notify us, complete registration forms, and we’ll handle the rest, including contacting your child’s previous school for their records.

  • Yes! We partner with Westside Community Center and Wells Park Community Center for after-school programming, which is available until 6:00 PM every day.

  • Follow these steps to apply for the 2026-2027 school year:

    • Complete the enrollment application by April 5, 2026. If we have more applications than available seats, we’ll hold a public enrollment lottery on April 6, 2026.

      • If selected, complete registration paperwork to officially enroll your child.

      • If not selected, your child will be placed on the waitlist, and we’ll contact you once a spot opens.

    • Once registered, you’ll receive details about upcoming Meet & Greet events for all registered families.

  • Kindergarten: 30 seats

    1st-8th grades: Limited seats available

    Enroll today by submitting an application online or calling our front office at 505-539-5283.

  • If there are more applicants than available seats, we will select students randomly through a lottery. If seats are still available after the lottery, they will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Siblings of current students and children of staff members have lottery preference, as per state regulations.
